Banner is the enterprise resource planning (ERP) software product that UIndy licenses and uses. Banner allows us to record and maintain vast student, employee, and institutional data. Banner products provide the University with an integrated system for conducting the day-to-day business of the University and allowing faculty, staff, and students access to information about their relationship with the University. For students, this includes admission and financial aid information, course registration, billing, and other academic records. Banner is also the payroll and benefits system for all student employees. The data in Banner is the primary source of information that feeds many other systems.

IT supports Banner software by ensuring that the software is updated, securely managed, and accessible to the campus community.
